Standing Orders

Standing orders are the written rules of the Parish Council. While they are not the same as policies, the Parish will refer to their standing orders to regulate meetings, and use the standing orders to confirm or refer to various internal organisational and administrative arrangements.
The current standing orders were adopted by full council on the 11th March 2025. Due to be reviewed May 2026.

Code of Conduct

All members of the parish council must adhere to a code of conduct. Adopted by full council on 13th May 2025. Due to be reviewed May 2026.

Financial Regulations

Financial regulations provide the Parish Council with a framework for all financial measures. They apply to each council member and employee of the Parish on how financial matters should be conducted.

The below Financial Regulations were adopted by full Council on the 13th May 2025. Due to be reviewed in May 2026.

Equality and Diversity Policy

The equality and diversity policy ensures that the Parish Council creates a safe and inclusive space for its members, employee’s and service users.

The IT Policy was adopted at Full Council Meeting 10th March 2026

Asset Register

The Asset Register includes all the assets Bilton Parish Council currently own. The current asset register was reviewed on the 10th March 2026 by Full Council but was found to be in need of amendments. The asset register will be updated after Full Council meeting on 14th April 2026.
